Damn, makes me want to try the 5mi "Thunderschleife" again, but I never feel like I'm learning the track since I can only get about 3-4 laps in a 20 min session.

Yeah, that would be tough. I would like to just drive that course for as many laps as possible until I have to stop to take a piss. Wonder how much that would cost.

I was able to sit in neal's car for a session and it really opened my eyes to the track and how to take the lines. I plan on doing the 5mile again this year

Exact same thing happened to me. Check your fuses and the OBD port for any bent pins. I had a blown fuse. If your car is under warranty you can just take it to the dealer to get it checked out.

Finally got off work on time to go to BevMo. Got a bottle of the Weihenstephan hefeweis (currently in the freezer so I can get it cold enough to drink with dinner), and a 6-pack of Hofbrau hefeweizen (hopefully this is good since there are 6 bottles, lol).

Something weird started happening for me. When I go to switch cars (take the FR-S out of the garage and put the Yaris in), I'll start the FR-S, idle for 3 to 5 seconds and pull out into the driveway where it idles until I hop into the Yaris, start it, and back it into the garage. Some time after I close the garage, the carbon monoxide alarm goes off. Keep in mind, the FR-S is idling at the end of my driveway, and the driveway is long enough to accommodate 2x2 cars comfortably.

This doesn't happen if I pull the Yaris into the garage without starting/moving the FR-S.

There is a strong odor when I do swap cars. Could it be just from not driving the FR-S often that the first start becomes stupid rich?

Got the Weishenstephaner out of the freezer right when it was about to freeze. Good stuff! I'm having it with some L&L bbq chicken. Oddly enough, it works well together.
