that probably would look decent too. I guess I would change to smoked if it was legal. I do obsess but not with NYC and long island **** police. They look for any excuse to make money and compound that in court.

Does that smoke housing actually light up amber with the amber LED?

Thanks for this I just ordered mine! Was holding off on buying them until I had a bigger order to avoid crazy shipping costs at 86speedshop. I hadn't really paid much attention to 86speed just because the site isn't as easy to navigate. I think I'll give them a second chance now though.

It is a good look. The amber marker seems out of place to me. Not sure whether to do clear or smoke on my (soon to be) white BRZ, but I think the amber will go bye bye.,

To my eye the smoked would look just as out of place unless you have the rest of the lights smoked. The clear would just blend in and virtually disappear on the white.
The same sort of thought process goes on when I see somebody that puts clear on a Lava. Why did you make a one off spot of colour (or lack of) when the amber is almost invisible?

Now THAT is a case where the smoked works well since it ties in so nice with the rest of the black highlights.

That's why I ended up just going with the JDM clear markers for my DGM. Smoked is cool, but unless you're going blackout it's just a little out of place.

I hear you, for sure. But there are a lot of black trim bits that really stand out on a white BRZ, and I'll have the black wheels with the PP. If the smoke looks blackish and blends with them, voila, consistency. That's what I imagine from the pics, anyway. OTOH, can't go wrong with the clear, hence my mild dilemma. Leaning toward clear, though, in all honesty, for the reason you mention.
