Yup. My gas tank has been getting empty fast lately. Hit Patterson/Tesla the other night. I hate hoe there are always people on Patterson now though thanks to Waze App and the damn constructiom on the Altamont so people are sent that way even at night...

Welp just got off the phone with my sales guy and it sounds like my BRZ might have arrived 1.5 weeks early. He's going to double check, and if it's there that means I can pick it up this weekend!!

Are you going to bring it on a drive, or are you worried about the imaginary "break in period"?

Definitely want to join you guys on a drive soon.

My main priority is learning manual first haha. I've never driven manual before so I want to make sure I have a good handle on that and how the car drives first.

Nah, once you're moving its cake. Just leave in 2nd and take it up to red line. Do that "hard break-in" experts are always talking about

I thought it should always be taken up to red line?

-insert song about taking it to the limit-

So no drives this weekend? The first sunny, dry weekend in like 6 months and no one wants to drive? Come on!

I drove La Honda and Skyline today. It was miserable cuz it was the first sunny weekend in 6 months so everybody and their mama was on the road driving 25mph. And that was when there wasnt one of the 1000 cyclists in front of us when they would decide to cross the center line in a blind turn to get by and lay on their horn while flashing their high beams at me while I waited for a straight to pass

Sounds like everyone's taking their own private drives this weekend haha. I took Redwood and Skyline (East) this afternoon ... after swapping tires and brake pads I just wanted to do a little shakedown. The weather was great but the road still had some wet patches and remnants of mudslides here and there. Saw a few motorcycles, at least 2 open wheel Caterham/Lotus 7 type cars, and some other sport or sporty cars (Z, S2K, Integra) that seemed to have the same ideas... oh and one red twin, not sure if it was the same one we saw 2 weekends ago on Patterson!

No early drive for me this weekend... too many early weekends lately, gonna sleep in this one... plus we lose an hour!

Yeah, there were definitely other nice cars on the road (S2Ks, Caymans, Cobras, and some racecared out Viper that sounded ungodly)

But it was the fucking Priuses that got to me lol
