Nice car, and cool photo! Is that up by Berkeley in the hills? I was just up there a couple months ago and have some photos from right around the same area

86speed is doing a deal right now for the Helix side markers with LED bulbs for $49.99 shipped if you use 'freemarker'. That's where I got my smoked ones for my car.

I'm putting them on tomorrow, but from the few videos posted up on YouTube it seems pretty easy actually.

Don't be afraid to use a little muscle with it. Sometimes they take quite a bit of persuasion to pop out, especially the first time.

I would imagine anything but amber color side markers are not USDOT legal. People get obsessed about tiny parts of their car. I do not think anyone else notices.

As long as you put an orange bulb/LED in there (I would recommend bright LED if going smoked), you should be good.
