Ya, it's forcing me to actually read jalopnik articles. I don't know which is worse, autoblog web design or jalopnik writing. I guess I'll just watch more Aussie racing lol

Well now, that sucks. CSG is out of stock of the 15x7 6UL without any ETA. I was trying to avoid Enkei RPF1's. Anyone know of any other light weight, no replica 4x100 wheels?

Have you tried asking 949 what their stock is? I would be surprised if CSG was doing anything other than shipping them direct from 949 to your doorstep.

I was thinking of doing Motegi Traklites for a cheap wheel in the future.

There's also Kosei.

I've spent far too long browsing Tirerack for wheels, probably the only decent website for sorting through wheels. I like the look of Sparco but they're a few lbs heavier than Enkei's even in smaller diameters, but drastically cheaper.

Trying to be unique? Why no Enkei? I'm doing tax return shopping for wheels.

CSG ships directly from 949Racing, and they've already asked when the ETA is for the 15x7. I guess they were told no ETA for now.

I went on Tire Rack and looked up Enkei, Kosei, and O.Z. It's hard trying to find something that would look good on a small diameter wheel. =\

Yeah, I'd rather get something that less people have, so that's why I'm avoiding the RPF1's.

I'm looking at other Enkei wheels, along with Kosei and O.Z.

What I'm thinking so far:

Kosei K4R. Looks good, pretty light, nicely priced. Have to get 16's, but that would open up tire sizes. Only down side is it's higher offset, so it'll be sunk like the steelies now; and it appears it's a little back ordered.
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...8&autoModClar=

Enkei YS5. Looks decent (prefer this style in larger diameters). Inexpensive. But maybe heavy since the 16's come in at 19lbs, so the 15's are probably 16 to 17 lbs.
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...sh=Hyper+Black

Enkei J10. Looks good, cheap, decent weight, not as sunk as the Kosei. Only thing I don't like is the two-tone (polished lip and silver face).
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...8&autoModClar=

O.Z. Ultraleggera. Looks good. Good offset. Lightest of my picks, but the most expensive at nearly double the price of the J10.
https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...8&autoModClar=

In terms of looks, for me, it's a tie between the K4R (especially since it's 16's) and the J10, third comes the Ultraleggera, and the YS5 comes in last.

Bang for buck for me would be J10, K4R, Ultraleggera, and once again, YS5 comes in last (since I don't know its weight in 15").

I vote K4R with 3mm spacers

Hah, I like the YS5 the best out of these.

Looks like the YS5 15x6.5 comes in at 16.8lbs.

You know what, I have a pair (only) of either 3 or 5mm spacers! Forgot about them!

Yup, heaviest of the bunch. Only thing I like best from the YS5 is the color compared to the rest. Those wheels remind me of one of the eight sets of wheels I had on my previous Yaris (sedan), which is why I prefer that design on larger diameters. These were 17"

Spacers are cheap. Just remember 3mm is ok with stock atuds usually. 5mm you need extended

Basically you need to get 6-7 full turns on the lugnut iirc

I don't think my friend used extended studs, so they maybe 3mm. I'll have to measure them tomorrow while I gravity bleed the Yaris' brake fluid. haha.

Damn, I am just smitten by that new Alpine. Always loved the classic shape and I think it's modernized rather well

Also, how bout that new Subaru STI!
