Germany, France pretty much everyplace. It is that lack of shelf and more pressure than gentle swirling across it that I was referring to. You get a nice satisfying "WHOOOOSH" and all gone not a soft little "WIIIIISH" circle the bowel for 3 hours and then finally go down the hole.

Yep, the shitters that I remember in Europe were wider and the "shelf" that everything landed on was actually the bottom ...... I don't recall any flushing sounds .....

There was even toilet paper instead of the sponge on a stick they used in your youth.
