Didn't even know ESX was a thing, had to look it up now that you mentioned it.

Nice setup:

Yes, exactly, but now you see my conundrum. My current OEM carpet mats (and clutch pedal) are filthy and muddy. I need to remove the carpets, vacuum them (so I can store them somewhere while clean), and vacuum underneath them so I'm not just throwing the new mats down over top of dirty carpet.

Oh I should also mention that I have no covered area to work on my car, so I can't very well have both doors open vacuuming while it's raining outside

Old mats or new mats on top dont matter either way, so just swap them. Unless you are like me and then will just leave the carpet as is until summer when you decide to clean your all weather mats from all the mud

But there's a metric shit ton of sand and dirt that has migrated under the carpet mats as well onto the "baseboard carpet".

I can't in good conscience put down new mats on top of dirty sandy carpet.

Well now, better vacuum and install today before the rain tomorrow. Lol JK.

Yeah, pretty hard to clean interiors without a covered spot.

When ever I vacuum any mats, I'll vacuum the carpeting below it. Only way to do it. Haha

I'm still trying to decide on opticoat and clear bra.

It's probably much smarter to get both, or at least one, right after buying the car, before it's gotten scratched or dinged.

But on the other hand they're both still pretty pricey to do, especially right after dropping like 15-25% of the price on the car for a downpayment lol.

Do all of you have them?

I am definitely doing the tint, though.

I would just get the opti coat only, if I could even afford it.

I never got either for any of my previous cars but I just did for my current car since I really like the color. So far so good but I'm kinda questioning it and having some buyer's remorse since it cost a little more than twice the cost of the paint color option.

If people really recommend getting it I could probably afford it, but if it doesn't really make _that_ much a difference in the end then I'd definitely prefer saving the money.

I'm getting white so I don't know if it's even worth getting either. It's not like getting a dark color and then dealing with swirls and stuff later.
