I got a shell car wash pass this winter with my brother and it has been good to us so far. They have the option for touch and touchless wash, you need to do your homework tho as some of the older car washes only have soft touch wash. The one local to me you drive in and it does not use rails or conveyor belt so its nice knowing that your wheels will be okay.
Esso also has a really good touchless wash imo. No rails as well for those and if you go to the brand new gas stations the car wash has more features. I just fill up at esso and rack up my points to use the car wash year round. Only started using shell because esso does not offer a car wash pass. |

Shell at Passmore and Kennedy in Scarborough have refreshed their touchless car wash machine and it's brilliant, the car gets shinny AF. Self wash I still think Budget Car Wash on Laidlaw in Markham is best and I only need 2 bucks to get the job done. |

Tried the touchless Shell car wash at Kennedy and Passmore. It took a while to wash my car, the facilities looked miles better than Esso and the car came out spotless. Highly recommended.

I also would like to confirm that I like Shell's touchless better than others, but it may be a local thing. Both CT, Esso and PC touchless didnt do a good enough job with salt film/residue left. I'm using it on wife's RX350 and noticed that it's able to wash the rear window up under the spoiler too, which other washes miss about 5 inches, make it wet and the whole hatch has streaks and is a mess. Rinses off well too. The downside is drying, it doesnt seem as good at drying, but in winter its fine, I care to wash it well.

I use coin operated self wash by my house. $3 for 4 minutes. I just start with high pressure soap setting for 2 minutes, rinse with high pressure wax setting for 1:30, then rise the windows with the water setting for the remaining time.
Does it come out spottlessly clean? No. I just care to get rid of salt and have a bit of protection with the wax. If I want really clean, I wash at home. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

I have taken my car to Autobahn Salon at Dufferin and Langstaff. I live in Brampton but the drive and the service is worth it. The car was literally full of dirt after going off at DDT then it started to rain on the way home that mud was caked onto the car. When they were done there was not a single swirl mark on the car.
