Hub/Quick release help (Nardi Deep Corn)

Hey everyone, I dont know if I'm posting in the right section but I really need some help. I got a Nardi deep corn steering wheel and I got a nrg hub with the nrg v3 quick release. My first problem was that it was way too close to me even if it was pushed all the way in. A friend told me that nrg sells a thin version of their quick release so I was going to order that with an nrg short hub and of course, for some reason it says in the description of the nrg thin quick release that it is NOT compatible with the short hub
if you run a Nardi deep corn would you please be able to share what your setup is like? Obviously if I cant figure it out I'll run it without a quick release but ideally, I'd like to. Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Dave

Unless you need a quick release (IE A fixed seat position close to the wheel) don't run one, especially an NRG one. I've seen them fail.

Get the solid shorty hub.

Yeah I have a Bride Vios III in the car so thats why I would prefer a quick release but like I said if anything I'll just deal with it
