We have race upgrades and splitters in stock again! Had a rough go of keeping them in stock for a few months but we're stocked up now again .

Any questions, feel free to ask.

I fixed it by fabricating a little metal plate to sit above the plastic, but just wanted to point it out as a potential spot of weakness. Not sure when or how it happened.

Small plate I made and set above the original mounting location. Seems to hold it well but track time will tell if it vibrates off:
Mine recently broke here as well. But it was because I hit an 18 wheeler tire tread on the highway at 75mph. So that's not average wear and tear. I had to fab a plate for the far outside rivet that connects to the edge of the bumper. Ripped the rivet one clean out.

The race upgrade worked great. I was able to salvage that and order a new splitter.

Overall I've been very happy with your products. I've beat on them too hard and they are surviving.

Just ordered the race version along with an APR GT 250 rear wing. First test will be NOLA next month.

Hurricane Matthew messed up the NOLA trip but it's all finished now. Ready to get back on the track in early december.

We ended up creating a new thread for our carbon thermoplastic splitters, including the side skirts and rear spats. It's located here for anyone that has questions regarding those kits . http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...41#post2795941

New year, updated old products and new, less expensive products!

Front Splitter:

Shown below you'll see an additional hole added to the front splitter. This will be an additional mounting point for those wanting to bolt here instead of the hard plastic undertray that has broken from a few. It will be harder to install but it's to a metal portion near the radiator that won't break like the hard plastic. Ultimately you can use both holes if you care to.

Race Upgrade:

We have upgraded our race upgrade mounting.

-ALL hardware is metric now!
-All rod ends/support rods are metric now
-Rod ends are machined from 7075 vs 6061
-Splitter mounts are machined aluminum clevis

*Brand New Two-Piece Splitter*

A two piece splitter to reduce shipping costs and overall kit pricing! Below are pictures of the new product on and off car. This design is still plenty sturdy to handle 200+ lbs of downforce, the kit automatically includes the support rod kit as well. You can only see the split line when you're looking specifically for it, in the right lighting.

Creative mod to product. Very probably more then welcome for ones ordering from across the pond . I've learned long ago that everything overweight or oversized triggers much much higher shipping rates rising purchase cost for some oversea sold wares only below anything reasonable.

Yes, definitely helps overseas pricing significantly.

Thanks,
Eric

So, is the new two piece kit the performance equivalent of the old one piece with the race upgrade but significantly cheaper? Cool.

That's correct, machined from 6061-T6 and looks pretty nice .

Correct.

Neal at @theRacersLine sent in some photos of his car. It has been on track a few times without a problem .

Our front splitter endplates work with these two piece units as well.

Thanks,
Eric

Does anyone know if the splitter will fit with the new 2017 Toyota 86 with the redesigned front end?

Fits on there but I did have to make a few adjustments to some of the mounting holes. Wasn't hard, and didn't take long.

When you say modify mounting holes, is this for under the bumper or to the crash beam?
