Pretty much.
I rarely bother passing in the passing zone because I know I'm just going to end up behind someone in a couple minutes... unless I'm behind a total jackass, then I pass them.

Yea mine is a CVT, didn't care much to get a manual since I have a bike for spirited riding, plus I can't live without cruise control in a cage.

180hp is for a stock non Nismo Juke, mine has a Visconti ecutek stage 2 kit with a couple simple bolt-ons (larger intercooler, short ram, and full exhaust). Not as fun to drive as an 86 I'm sure but she gets the job done.

EDIT: TIL some manual cars actually do have cruise control, well shit.

i saw an open lane at a red light that turns into a merge lane a few feet down...so i switched lanes into the soon to be merge lane and approaching the stop light i see a red corvette standing in front of the line on the lane next to me and i immediately said to myself "shit haha"

of course the corvette saw my car and must have mistaken it for a porsche and decided to take off aggressively when the light turned green and so i couldn't get in front of him...i aint even bother trying to go against him

the thoughts running through his mind must have been...oh a sporty looking car pulled up next to me in the merge lane..resembles a porsche...i must prove myself lmao

Pulled into a gas station and noticed a Maserati filling up. I glanced over a little but wasn't too fond of the styling. More curious about the matching color scheme as it looked to be some sort of special edition. Either way, I continue filling up as usual and I notice out of the corner of my eye that the owner is looking my way too. I thought it was going to be a mutual respect sort of deal, but instead he yells over "try not to get scared", then starts up his car and revs it. Don't get me wrong, that thing sounded good and man was it loud, but what the fuck dude. He was in his mid 30s and dressed like a punk. Kinda funny he felt like he had something to prove. He revved it all the way to the exit of the station, where he then entered traffic and continued to rev. Some people..

Some highschool kid in a brand new Scion TC blasting techno wanted to race me not long ago, at the street light we went for it and he got smoked lol. I thought it was funny because before I got my FRS I was thinking of getting a TC... Lucky me!

Lol been there, some guy in an rx-7 (old school right) was revving his car at the light wanting to race me, I couldn't even hear his exhaust over the sound of his turbo so idk why he wanted to race my stock FRS... I wasn't going to waste my gas trying to keep up

Him and i would have exchanged some "unpleasantries", can't stand punks like that, always something to prove, if he had a Buggatti Veyron he prob would have been the same way, and i'd be like for $1.2 million dollars your car better be faster than mine jackoff.

Nobody pays a bit of attention to me or my car. I guess it's a time and place kind of thing.

Just cruising home and encountered an Evo VIII and two BMW bros (an E92 N54 and E46 325/330i).

The Evo was maintaining its distance, but the BMWs kept lining up with me. Since paying them no attention didn't cause them to leave, I gave them a three horn salute, and sent them on their way.

Had a laugh after their reaction.

Had a Hyundai Genesis behind me that tried to do a fly by a few times but traffic wouldn't allow it. I eventually pulled onto the off ramp and sure enough he had the opportunity and came flying by just to slam on his brakes a second later. Hyundais 😂

I did have an encounter with a Porsche Cayman a few months ago. While driving the speed limit on the slab. I notice a Cayman approaching fast ,he slows down to take a look-see at my rear, then jogs to my right, drives up a bit for another look-see.Then he drops back and passes on my left at high speed. But,I know the state police patrol this area heavily at drive home time to catch speeders. He was lucky for the length I drove it until I got at my exit.

Was sitting at a red light and a ~2000 Jeep Grand cherokee pulled up next to me. I heard a "wanna race?" and then the cherokee proceeded to do a brake stand. All while the light is still red. Once it turned green he took off.
