That's really interesting. I was actually looking this morning for a matte black metal frame or similar.

Do you guys who get frames usually get one for each side?

I'm rocking a free plastic GrimmSpeed frame on my front plate, figure it'll get hit by rocks anyway, no use in putting a super nice one up there.

The Subaru one looks nice too http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/suba...-2013-brz.html

Not worth the unwanted attention or getting hassled. Or getting pulled over specifically for not having a front plate, like I've seen cops do to certain twins on group drives.

Haha, was just being facetious. I've run no front plate the whole 5 years I owned my car, only getting pulled over once on redwood, which I got off with a warning after a pleasant exchange with the officer. I did keep my front plate in the trunk the entire time just in case

Like @Clipdat said the front one just gets beat up so dont go super fancy. I had a free Grimmspeed one until it got cracked. Now I have an 86 piston one that I got from a buddy. Will just swap it to another freebie one when the time comes. Ive collected a few for backups haha

For me, YES! They'll find anything to pull me over in my town. Stock/carb'ed FRS with OEM exhaust. 2-3 finger gap on the fenders so it's not low at all

For sure! ETA right now is March 20. Will have to get to a meet soon after. Just need to learn stick first haha.

BTW, did you get the mats yet? Guessing it's a good time for me to figure out which to get.

Boosting a twin is downright fiscally responsible when you compare it to $150 glasses of Macallan 25.
