Pretty sure you'll need bigger injectors as E85 runs a lot richer and you'll probably be pressing 280-290 whp. Might just want to jump in and do it, so you won't have to spend money on a new tune - but talk to Mike about it and take his advice.

Yes. I have talked to mike. I'm running non-intercooled at moment, and only on the 72.5mm pulley. Mike mentioned that I might be OK considering the above -- We will find out soon!

I don't expect to be up at 280-290 necessarily -- as I'm not running intercooler, or 69mm pulley.

We will see what mike says!

You should be more than fine on stock injectors from my experience. I'm ~310 to the tire now (intercooled, 69mm, flex fuel) and still fine with stock injectors.

He's the man that knows, especially when it comes to these Sprintex kits. I know that fuel capacity can be stretched because we have both DI and port injectors, just not sure if that limits you in other areas. I'd bet E85 will surprise you how it transforms your power output, even on a non IC syste

I'm excited for that! I bet I will be surprised as well, and definitely have no issue with upgrading injectors, and eventually clutch (as I will imagine that will be the next thing).

I'm going to monitor temps and blow-by and may do catch cans and intercooler just for longevity. I've not seen high temps under daily driving yet.

This will be my last power upgrade on this car unless I build the motor!

Anyone upgraded the intercooler's pump to this one? Any improvements?

Running high boost no intercooler aggressive tune on gasoline!
Don't waste you're money on IC!

I have that pump sitting in my garage right now, I'll be doing a write up for us/Mike.

It's MASSIVE compared to the baby one that comes in the s/c kit. Should work really well.

So question for the innovate owners. I'm planning on purchasing this kit (already own another twin with the vortech kit) for my 2.0 as an "easy, bumper removal free" (to avoid the dreaded bumper gap) forced induction.

I recently took a drive in a twin with this kit+ stock air box and the sound was not where I wanted it to be. I know many people run the perrin intake (which significantly amplifies the sound) but I do not want to since you have to remove the bumper to install it.

So, question: Are there any "short ram" style intakes (which do not sit inside the bumper) that can be used for this supercharger? I believe airraid works as well but I'd prefer an open filter. I dont track the car and live in Michigan, so I'm not worried about heat soak.

Any suggestions?

A lot of us here are on the quest for more power, and would probably avoid that kinda intake.
You should throw a post on the intake thread as well.
What's up with not wanting to drop your fender?

Going to still power it off the injector harness or a different method?

No, I wasn't a fan before of that powering the pump, and this new one is HUGE. Gonna setup to power off a relay. I'll have a write up/video done though.

I don't know how much power goes through the injector wire, but there's no way it could support this pump reliably.

Does the pump definitely draw more current rather than just being a bigger pump?
