I never knew "wildly adorable" meant "small devil child" in American...

Anyone have the spark plugs replaced (60k mile service) yet by a dealership? How long did it take?

Just to clarify, I am under warranty hence why I am getting this done at a dealer.

Spark plugs are easy in a Subaru. Just take out all the accesories (windshield washer resevoir, intake, etc..), then the 'coilpacks,' then the plugs. Don't forget to plug everything back in.

I read you just unbolt the engine and lift it up a few inches on each side.

But no guess as to how much time it would take? I should mention that I want to get the fuel pump replaced as well (hopefully under warranty)

They will have a set time for the change so probably just a quick call to the dealer can get the answer. I bet you have to leave it at least overnight though. If you have crickets you should be able to get the pump changed without much of a fight. If you don't they may not touch it.

And with the weather being warm, I have a great chance to document it. Supposed to be almost 70 over the next few days. Otherwise, they sleep when its cold.

Ya same here. I have never seen it this warm at this time of year. It is sort of scary actually.

But climate change is a hoax, amiright?

Just got off the phone with the dealership, the plug replacement is supposed to take 2-3 hours.

As far as the pump, they said they need to "diagnose it" when I bring it in. Anyone use a video to help with that diagnosis? I think I have heard of that being used before.

Some dealers may just take your word for it but sounds like this one won't. If you could get some video of the chirps then that may sway them. Also print out the last TSB since some dealers can never seem to "find" them when people go in.
