Awesome! This will be my first auto-x in 2 years and the first in anything other than my e30 BMW. I'll be in the Black '15 BRZ with stock wheels.

Sam will be in a Red BRZ, Brandon in the white BRZ and I will be in a hot lava FRS. All with the same wheels, well I will prob have stocks on when I get there and then change to the autox wheels.

We had a beautiful day out at Mineral Wells. Both David (Shneegle) and Miles ended up beating me, but at least Brandon (bslate3) was nice enough to let me beat him. The STX crew had a strong showing and the course was a ton of fun.

Awesome camera - what is it called? I wonder if we can get any graphical data on the rates of change on that skid-pad. Might be useful, I'm curious to see what kind effect my riding with you has (or just having a passenger in general).

My Camera is a Garmin Virb XE, I think I can have it graph g force but I don't know what looking at the rage of change would tell you (the gs are already acceleration). I matched my best time in my second morning run worth a passenger, but coned it (the passenger was a 100lb girl though). Generally a passenger costs a few tenths, but it's not unheard of to get faster with one due to favorable balance.

Not sure what it would tell you now that I'm really thinking about it. Could it give you some insight into accommodating for different driving styles when driving with passengers? Since these are momentum cars, maybe the weight transfer occurs more (or less who knows) rapidly with a passenger. Maybe letting you make a turn a bit later than usual, giving you more time at higher speeds.

I think I'm over thinking it at this point lol.

It was fun racing with you guys again and good to meet some new people too.

Slowly but surely I'm starting to figure out this car in STX trim. Yes I know still needs a header and tune.

I hope to have a new set of tires for the SCCA autocross at the TMS bus lot.

Well here is my best run video. As Sam (14stu) mentioned I had the best time out of any other STX competitor. With the BMW rules and classing I was 3rd in class and 5th overall for the day.

Twins took 1, 3, and 5th in STX today at ER#1 in Burleson. I was hoping for a 1, 2, 3 finish but Shneegle coned his way into 5th. I managed to take and hold on to 1st and bslate3 (Brandon) took 3rd, but the competition was fierce and really any one of the top 5 drivers could have put down a winning run.

And 1st out of 25 in Novice division, against a bunch of Camaros. Good showing for the twins!
