Even though set in the hot gases are forced out and away from the plastic so ya you may have some soot but the worst of the heat isn't doing anything. When moving of course you are also blowing the heat away. I suppose if you left it sitting there idling for hours then there may be a build up. I was worried about heat with my TRD tips since they pretty much fill the hole but both the valance and my cheap ass ABS diffusor have shown zero signs of heat effect after almost 100K miles. Don't think you need to worry.

that color is the best I wish Subaru had it. Would have gotten it.

In traffic in hot months, I would hope it could withstand the pipe heat. I guess it can fine enough.

Exhaust tip adjustment looks pretty simple like Johnny mentioned...

So I have been working on the follow-up video for this one.

Turns out the exhaust tips are not really that adjustable. They come off easily with the one 10mm bolt. But, they can only move about a 1/4" or so out. Sad face...

I would, if I was keeping the stock exhaust I'll be bolting up all the engine mods in the next week or two.

A question on your OFT. Did you just flash the ECU without any hardware modification? Or Have you put on any performance parts like header & exhaust?

How well did the torque-dip get cured?

My 2017 BRZ is bone stock and flashed with the OFT beta tune. The torque dip is almost entirely gone, not completely, but definitely much better than stock. I will be installing the engine upgrades soon on the '17 car.

My '13 FRS had I/H/E engine bolt-ons and was also tuned with OFT (we dyno tuned it). Torque dip was completely gone on that car.
