With some help from forum members, I was able to figure out how to resize and upload pictures. Here is a couple of pictures of my rubber mats made by Aries. You'll see that they are thicker than Weathertech. They also fit "tighter" after months of use - that is, the sides don't pull away from the floor wall. You'll also notice that I placed some really cheap and thin rear floor mats around the footwell. Even with any mats, you're going to have places that your feet come in contact with the original carpeting. I hope this helps.

I like your idea of putting an extra floor mat under the pedals. I think I'll give that a try

I bought them on ebay - but at least you can see the quality. Thanks to venturaII for helping me.
Thank you for the link! For some reason when I put them in my cart it says 2nd row. Can't seem to find the front since those are the important ones anyways

For those without rubber mats, how messy do the floors get on the stock mats?

Again Id like to thank everyone for their input.

Depends where you live. I'm assuming the winters in Miami are pretty mild (lol) so you're not tracking slush and salt into the car for 4+ months of the year. I use rubber mats for the winter up in New England, but as soon as spring rolls around, the smaller OEM mats go back in and seem to do a decent job of keeping things tidy. They're certainly less obtrusive than larger fitted mats.

That said, I'd still love a set of classic Cocos for summer use..

Just use caution with this because if you don't keep tabs on them and they shift around, it could cause an issue with the pedal getting stuck under them.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's technically possible.

Thanks for the amazon link!

Winter in Miami is nothing as far as salt/snow/mud, but sure enough I get plenty of grass/mud/dirt inside even if I stomp my feet before getting in the car. Ive always had rubber mats, even in the trunk, and they are a life saver!

How long is the shipping time for that?

Still trying to decide on what mat to buy, but my car isn't arriving till next month.

I got the free shipping, so of course they haven't shipped yet. Current status is "Preparing for shipping", so I'm guessing they will ship on Tuesday. Would probably normally be Monday, except for the holiday.

They shipped today via UPS out of Patterson, CA - so they should be here tomorrow!

Nice! If you get a chance could you maybe post or PM me some pics? Curious how they are compared to WeatherTechs.
