Shit got real tonight boys. Just missing RAM and the SSD. I figure it's best if I just have the SSD plugged in while setting the computer up, rather than both HDs in.
Cable management is super lame too. Especially in this micro atx case. Next case will be a not 35 dollar micro atx case. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One question about fan placement. It came preinstalled with one in the back, has spots for one in the front and one on the side. Should I do the one in the front? Or would the side be more important? For the side, air going in or out? |

Side would also be intake usually. You generally want the upper fan areas to be the exhaust.

The first SSD on my ThinkPad was a Toshiba and it crapped out only after 2 years and got super slow. Then I got an Intel one and it's still just as a fast as the first day I got it 5 years running. When I had a crappy gaming rig long ago (and I mean ages ago who even remembers 3DFX Voodoo cards when Nvidia was trash lol) I found the intake fan at the case front got a shit ton of dust and made things worse overtime so just make sure you clean it often. The exhaust fan blades seemed to be fairly clean all the time for some reason. Overclocking also sucked for me cuz after a few years those expensive ram started to cause weird characters on the screen during POST lol! Last edited by krayzie; 02-13-2017 at 09:30 PM. |

Does the fan go here? With the front panel covering it, or behind this grill?

They move so little air that no matter how blocked it looks, it will breathes fine. Again, until you build a hot as shit overclock beast... The exhaust fan alone would be enough |

If I did this, I'd have a much lower bank account, many more mods on car, and many, many more anime figures :o
