Eibach Sportline on Stock Struts?

I bought some Eibach Sportline lowering springs and haven't installed them, but I've seen some pretty mixed reviews on here with some people getting blown struts after a few days to 3,000 miles. I'm in Alaska for the next 2 1/2 years and plan on getting a coil over system after I bring the car back to California.

Is there any proper guides or videos on how to install it without blowing your stock struts? (I'm new to the car scene)

The road conditions in the summer are perfectly fine, but winter time it can get pretty bumpy.

Also installing some 18inch wheels as my summers.

Contemplating reselling my eibach sportlines and put bigger wheels and leave it at that.

Sportlines will not help the harsh bumps. They are too low for stock struts imo and will be worse then stock on rough roads. Read some reviews on springs but you may just want to get wheels and leave the stock suspension for now, especially since our car doesnt have a ton of ground clearance to begin with.

For install check these DIY guides. The first one is the main guide and the second is a good shortcut so they go hand in hand

Ive had on ST coilovers for a good amount of time and recently the rears have started being bouncy and harsh.

So i'll be switching over to eibach sportlines soon and be using bilstein b8 with these.
I recently ordered KW V3(soon to be returned upon delivery) but I think sportline/b8 will be a better setup aimed towards comfort and daily driving in the shitty roads of socal.

I can let you know how this turns out in a few weeks if youre interested.

Met a few people who run sportlines with stock shocks and I've literally seen their car bounce pretty high on the freeway. Didnt hear too many good things with this setup.

On the other hand I ran the Eibach Pro-Kit with stock shock for a while and had no complaints. It doesn't offer a big drop as the sportlines do, but from personal experience the Pro-Kit treated me well while I had it.

Rebranded for Toyota as TRD. I have them on stock struts and they are great! They are designed to work with stock struts.

I have them on stock struts and the ride isn't that bad. Sure, it can be harsh on horrible roads, but it's not mini truck bad.

I have these on stock struts, with over 20k miles on them. No leaks on the stock struts. The ride is a bit harsh over uneven terrain, but overall not too bad.
