You can probably find somebody that will swap a bare trunk for your spoiler one pretty easy on here.

The link I sent you tells you everything you need to know:

zenki and kouki 86 TRD rear wing (trunk lip spoiler) is the same thing.

Also tells him that the bolt holes are totally different. Between his stock BRZ and the TRD one. And the FRS. And the old BRZ. And those new holes are gonna need a pretty big lip spoiler to cover them!

It's been available in Japan for a while...

just a matter of if you want to spend the money. Considering some items isn't air freight friendly, it's a question of "do I want to spend $100 on shipping or $1000+ for a front lip..."

Edit:

$642.85 for unpainted 2017 kouki TRD front lip.
$811.69 for air freight to my door.

Almost double for Canada when you consider exchange, taxes, duty and the additional shipping.

even worse when you consider the question of companies that sell these products grey market...

They start to import it this month. Exchange rate @ 110. They bring some in, pay for the freight, sell it for close to Japanese MSRP.

6 months later, Toyota decides to bring it in as factory optional part for 2018 cars, sells it via parts system for cheap. whomever that brought it in themselves is screwed.

Case in point: anyone buying the STI lip kit before 2015, myself included.

That applies to most hard to get or odd imported things though.
It happens to us all the time in the model building world. The most sure way to get a new kit released is to pay big bucks for an out of production one.
