Makes me wonder...

I just changed my ring and pinion gears and the shop that set up my differential was adamant about the break in cycle...

How can it be different for a new car?

The assumption is, the cars are already broken in when they leave the factory.

Which means your new gears are not broken in

Impossible. Break in procedure is a 20 minute drive at freeway speeds followed by a minimum 3 hour cool down cycle repeated 3 times.

IT FEELS SO GOOD TO HAVE POWER AGAIN!!!

Every other city besides Seattle got snow.. up until 2AM pacific. Well, it wasn't sticking. Then, my only other coworker called me over to the window and we looked at each other, not saying a word. We both knew we were on the border of being stuck..

We both got home fine but lets just say I had to enable VSC sport and snow mode to lock the tranny in 2nd to get anywhere from a standstill. Poor car :/ Learned the fine art of throttle feathering...

Did practically nothing at work today or Thursday/Friday last week. For that I stayed up and finished up for my meeting in 5 hours. Reminded me of writing papers back in school staying up all night. As tired as I will be when I leave work tomorrow I just prefer working at night.

Learning to make a basic floorplan was also kinda cool. Excel made it very easy.

Cuz if the snow is a little deep you need to spin the wheels to get out of a dig.

I think VSC Sport is great since it allows for enough wheel spin while keeping the car straight. A FWD car I can just turn the whole thing off it there's such an option.

Snow tires (or lack there of), break in period, and weather. Random has really gone down hill.
