Hello!

I have been following the forums for a while, have a Black Performance Package on order, expected delivery is late March. Very excited to get the car and to lightly modify as needed.

Hi everyone,

Been lurking this forum for a good while before I got my BRZ in WR Blue a couple of years ago. Since then, I have been using it to read about aftermarket parts, for DIYs, and to ogle at other members' builds.
Finally got motivated to start an account, since sometimes I find myself having questions that others haven't asked or haven't answered, and on a few occassions I've had answers and wanted to share them.

Mostly I've done cosmetic mods to my BRZ, but also some functional ones. After driving the car fully stock for over 1.5 years, I'm slowly starting to move on to the heavy stuff, though I won't be going too crazy. I'll be posting my build thread soon to chronicle my progress for myself and anyone interested. Happy to finally join the community!

Cheers!

Hi There.

Hello, I just bought my car Saturday night. I got a 2013 Galaxy Blue Subaru BRZ. The car is originally from Newark Delaware, so if it looks familiar that's why. It's now at home in Lynchburg VA. Cars has Bilstein Shocks, Hi-flow catted front pipe, and 18" Enkei T6S Gold wheels in Dunlop Signature HP tires. 225/40R18 Front, and 255/35R18 Rear. I hope to learn a lot here and hope to see folk around.

Take it easy,

Jack.

Easily my favorite color! Congrats and Welcome!

Hello everyone! I just got my (brand new) Toyota 86 and I have been enjoying it a lot (first time since owning my other sporty small sports cars in the past). I want two things out of this car: something that will last me years... and something that will make me enjoy driving every day (and make me want to drive every day). So for starters, I got an exhaust. After that, I don't know what else to do to the car. Headers might be a no-no (I want this to be a daily driver and I live in a state with yearly inspections) and everything else in the car seems to be optimized for NA setups. So... maybe just exhaust it is? Anyways, I'm glad to join the club!

Hi ADFShark!
Just recently joined the forum myself (or at least became active), but welcome! I can tell you that changing my tires for grippier summer tires really, really improved the driving experience for me. I got a bad puncture and went with Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the stock wheels on the rear, and the difference is huge (can't wait to upgrade the front ones). You may be able to enjoy them more if you've already driven the stock tires for a while and gotten used to them, but the car feels tons better.

I just noticed I posted this in the BRZ section lol. Woopsies

New Series Yellow

Hey guys, took a delivery of a series yellow tonight in MD. Previously drove a leased automatic FRS, so there are some pretty big differences between the two. Anyway sorry for the bad quick photos. http://imgur.com/DK7csJm. Got some more photos today: http://imgur.com/a/0FJh6

Lol a couple weeks after posting this, I found out I can actually trade in a car that's being financed so I may get my 86 sooner than a year I have positive equity on my car so it should be a straight forward process.

Greetings and salutations!

I'm new around these parts, but just picked up a new BRZ Series.Yellow last Monday. It will be eventually replacing my Mustang once I get it sold. I've been looking at BRZs for over a year and decided to pull the trigger finally. I'm not new to lighter cars having previously owned and autocrossed a Miata and a 240SX, among others. Here's a quick crappy picture I took at the dealership. I should be taking some better pics in the coming days

And if anyone cares, here's a pic of her current stablemate:

Thumbs up First Post!

Heyo!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Pulling the trigger on a 2017 Sport-tech BRZ this Saturday!

Lots of track days (HDPE, Lapping, Time Attack) planned for this year.

Did lots of racing (Ice Racing, Auto-X, Drifting, HDPE, Lapping, Time Attack, Rally Cross) with my old 1989 RX-7 Turbo II and 1985 RX-7 GS over 12 years ago and looking forward to getting back in the saddle as it were.

Looking forward to lurking and posting!

Pre/Post thanks to everyone for all the useful tips and information!

Update: Realized the Sport-tech doesn't get the performance package, ended up buying the Inazuma (Series. Yellow). It arrives in 2 weeks.

When purchasing my 2017, they said 1k miles. No red lining.
