Is anyone else getting lots of brake dust? I saw this after coming back from the grocery store. 300 miles since my last wash, prompted me to wash again

Yea I am. Washed it again after 500 miles and was surprised by the amount of dust.

Could it just be break-in of the pads?

Picked it up yesterday On the way home from the dealership, we stopped at Oroville Dam, and my wife took some pictures. It's a little dirty from the 3 hour drive and a little rain. My 15 year old son rode from Walnut Creek to Oroville, and my 12 year old daughter rode from Oroville to our house in Paradise. They both loved the car! My wife still hasn't ridden in it. I better make that happen before the first payment!

Already have the Perrin 3.0 catback, water pump pulley, alternator pulley and strut tower brace installed.

Has anyone had any luck raising the front of the seat (tilting the bottom back)? I noticed on the long drive home from the dealership that my Siatica flared up a little. I'm 6'2" and even with the seat all the way back, I'm still sitting on my gluteus maximus with not much support under my hamstrings.

Sorry the pictures are a little small, I'm still learning.

Yep, I am nice guy. I also am dumping some OEM S2000 AP2 wheels for next to nothing and I am also selling some OZ Alleggeritas for a Porsche Cayman/Boxster.

I dont need to make money off of the wheels. 1750.00 is f'ing nuts. So I priced the parts so someone else could be happy. The rims are way too heavy for me and i am one of those guys who hate the Primacy tires. Not because they are bad at what they do. But they are a screwdriver, and i want a hammer. So my RE-71s that are coming will fit me much better.

So if anyone ever deals with me in the future, please know what a "NICE GUY" I am .

And take care of me in return. While i had my wheels off i also pull the PP brakes and got some basic measurements of the pads and rotors. I sent this to CSG so they could use it. Plus Mike will be recommending some pad swaps for me. As, the stock pads are way too pedestrian for my taste.

Please no one pay 1750 for these rims, I know OEM counts a lot to some people. But $1750 is nuts. These rims are nothing special.

Nice, I expect lighter weight two piece rotors will be a popular upgrade for the brakes in the future.

Off topic but still related to the PP: How does one tell whether aftermarket wheels will clear the brakes besides test fitting?

Hey! We should go for a drive! I live in Chico, work in Oroville, used to work in paradise for years. I'd love to see that series yellow in person. BTW, the ride up 162 to Berry Creek is really awesome if you haven't tried it.

It's funny you mention the seat tilt, my first couple of days in the car screwed up my lower back too, like bad. It just took some getting used to, now I don't have a problem.

I am not sure, as i always use a template from aftermarket BBK's. But this is Subaru OEM, so no template as far as i know. However, the rims i have on my car for now while waiting for tires to come in for TWS wheels, are the Kosei K4R, 17 x 8 with a 36mm Offset. They fit with plenty of room to spare. I will get some pics later to post. The OEM PP wheels had maybe 2 or 3 mm in spoke clearance, it was tight. So I would imagine as long as you are going with anything like a 17 x 8 or larger with appropriate offset you should be good to go. The rotor is 326mm.

edit - pics of OEM PP Brembos with Kosei K4R wheels
