Or I was thinking to remove the bulb and paint it body color

Yes! So before installing them the car rode like any standard car would. Soft not too bumpy. With the springs installed it feels 2x bumpier. I was a bit worried after I drove it home BC it was pretty bumpy n thought maybe I should just use stock suspension. Has a very similar feel to my dads 996GT2 suspension wise. The BRZ now has a great stance but because I'm only at 350 miles I haven't been able to test the handling too much. But so far it feels very maintained in the corners. I've gotten used to the springs and really like em now. Also gonna be great for track.

Would you recommend them for a daily driver with occasional track/autocross duty? I'm perfectly happy with the ride now, just want it to be a little lower

I don't know that I'd recommend them for a daily driver BC the ride is definitely impacted. My car is a weekend and track car, which is why I'm okay with the ride. And if the road is bumpy or damaged I slow down a bit more than I used to. I actually now swerve away from any road bumps.

It also depends on what your tolerance is like for a stiff ride. I immediately didn't like it but after a few hours driving I adapted and enjoy the more hardcore feeling.

I'm fine with a stiff ride, my first car was an RX8 with extremely stiff suspension since it was a track/autox car that was also used as a daily driver.

Now my struggle is deciding between coilovers or springs for the adjustable dampers

I don't think I'll be in NYC for a few months but I'll definitely take you up on that offer when I'm there.

These will be no problem for you then for sure, but no adjustability. Let me know!
