I'm a computer tech at a school district. One of the campuses that I work at is one of those early college type campuses. Students can earn college credit or if they are determined enough walk out with an associates. Some of the programs they offer are diesel mechanic, welding, and manufacturing.

Here's the kicker they have one class there that doesn't fit in. It's a floral class, the kids make fake floral arrangements. The room is scattered with piles of fake flowers and that green styrofoam.

Oh, my ...... maybe I should have taken a class like that.

Back on the farm, in the fall, my aunt would come out to the farm and collect up dead plants and make floral type arrangements that were beautiful.

I watched her and thought, heck, I can do that! However, when I tried, my "arrangements" looked like someone stuffed a bunch of weeds in a jar .....

My mom decorates her house with fake floral arrangements all the time. It's just something you get better at with time and some imagination. I do respect the art of it but at a school that is supposed to be about starting college degree plans I don't see where that falls.

My great grandmother would NEVER have allowed something like that near the horse & buggy ...... cause it would have scared the hell out of the horse ......

Well.. there was 1 in middle school. Oh how I remember her well. Short hair, glasses, small stature, late 20's to mid 30's.

Let's just say World History was a much more interesting class maybe thats why I love history so much right now!

Will do. They were up front that the parking brake boot is a bitch, and normally they get customers to send it to them for the install, but I didn't want to deal with the shipping hassle.

Maybe I'll try and remember to do a DIY for it.

Well now, soulreapersteve, we don't know what @Cole considered to be a "hot" teacher ...... his vision might have been blurred by raging hormones .....
