The car won't run without the passenger's side bracket grounding the ECU to the block. Driver's side is there just for aesthetics and consistency.

I've run mine without both for close to 2 years... The bottom bolt is enough to ground the ecu

Yep I learned that the hard way by forgetting about the bottom bolt. I like having all three points on the ECU secured and the aluminum is so light that to me, it's worth having beyond just cosmetic reasons.

Its a plus to have it secured, I ended up installing a small bracket that goes from the front hole to the engine... I felt that having only 1 bolt holding the ecu with all the tracking it would eventualy loosen.

What are you shooting the photos with? It's a DLR check on getting a polarizer filter. You can remove the reflections from the car.

Swapped my Velox hood vents out with the slanted version 2 units.



It's a subtle change but it definitely looks more aggressive with these which have less overall louvers and an inward angle to them. I like these much more than the originals.
