Shane from Steven's Creek Subaru was awesome.
Just bought my 2017 WR Blue from them and Shane was awesome. Got it at invoice and a month earlier than expected. No hassle, no issues. Straightforward and simple, the way buying a car should be.

Since I just got mine, I gotta give a shoutout to William @ Livermore Subaru. He let me test drive, without a second thought and was in constant contact throughout the whole process. I found my car in Sacramento, and they worked out a dealer trade to get the car here. Got an awesome deal and the team @ Livermore made the whole process smooth.

WA - Marysville - Roy Robinson Subaru - Sales
Sales: Mark Robinson Story: I haven't received my '17 Limited BRZ yet, but just wanted to give praise to Mark in sale at Roy Robinson Subaru. Immediately got me into a test drive, straight to the point with price, got me what I wanted below invoice, and was incredibly courteous throughout the process. Can't wait to pick up my car!

OK - Oklahoma City - Hudiburg Subaru - Sales
Salesman: Ryan "Paco" Bhuvasorakul (just call him Paco) Story: Paco is long time Subie enthusiasts, so he makes the car buying experience fun. I have purchased several cars from him and this dealership. The manager Darcy, is real straight forward to deal with. I have yet to make a deal with them that takes more than 10 mins of discussion and the pricing has always been on my side. The last 3 cars were purchased at invoice, so cant complain about that at all. The F&I experience is not as fun as the sales experience, but its never been bad. I forget the name of the lady i had last time, but she worked to give me all the finance offerings without making me jump through hoops to get them. I came away with a 60 month loan with 0.0% interest. You wont get that now since rates have gone up, and I never had that with the 4 earlier deals, but it shows the experience was a good one.

Subaru Dealer Whitelist (positive experiences, truthful dealings)
TX - Dallas - Sewell Subaru
Salesman - JD Rose Story - I'm a 22 year old guy with a youngish face and slim build. Most people don't take me seriously. Before stopping at Sewell, I went to Brandon Tomes Subaru and Randall Noe Subaru and the salespeople at both of those dealerships reluctantly showed me the BRZ. Perhaps they thought I was another kid just checking out the new model or wanted to test drive something fun. Neither of the dealerships let me test drive the car but they did let me sit in it. Sewell was different. From the moment I walked in, JD greeted me and said that I must be here to check out the updates to the STI line and when I said BRZ he said "Even better, we just got one in this morning, you can be the first customer to drive it" We cruised around the northern part of Dallas for a good 30-45 minutes and he went over every change from the previous year in detail. I pretended like it was all new to me but I had a printed copy of the leaked PDF in my backpack :P When we pulled back into the dealership he told me to park next to a 2016 BRZ and we looked at the exterior differences. I told him I wanted the performance pack and he smiled and said I was the first person at that dealership to ask for it (I still have no idea if he was lying but he made me feel special). We went in and started discussing price. Sewell was about $500 more than Randall Noe and he made a real show of trying to get a match for their price but his manager turned it down. Even so, I put in the order and couldn't be happier. I'll update this once I pick up the car in a few weeks (Order was placed November 29) Update: Picked up the car on January 27 and the whole experience was perfect. 10/10 would recommend Sewell Subaru.

CA - Santa Rosa - Hansel - Sales
Sales: Barbara Lee Story: After seeing other bay area dealers marking up the BRZ on the blacklist thread, I'd like to mention that Hansel placed an order for my PP BRZ at slightly above MSRP (~$150). She also quickly contacted me when I requested to change my order from Limited to PP. Hopefully it gets here soon. |

Got my Subaru used from Autonation Subaru Arapahoe in Denver. So far, they've been pretty cool with me and I haven't had any 'real' issues.
There was a 'minor' issue, however. Salesman/finance guy there named Syed hooked me up with new tires as part of the sale, however they were not in stock so I'd have to come back to have them put on. Not a big deal at all, but every time I'd call to see if the tires came in, I'd get shuffled around and put on hold for awhile until I got ahold of someone in service who knew what was going on. Sometimes the I'd get tranferred over and it would just ring for a while and then disconnect. Not a major issue, since everything worked out in the end, but dealing with them over the phone is hit/miss. They *are* a Subaru dealership in Colorado, which makes them very busy, probably one of the reasons for being on hold/not getting someone to pick up. In person, however, they are great to deal with. |

IL - Highland Park - Muller Subaru - Sales
Sales: Bob Szramek Story: Entered the dealership and he greeted me instantly. He politely asked if I needed something to drink, and got me a water bottle. He then asked me what I needed help on, and told him I was interested in placing an order on the '17 Series.Yellow BRZ. Gave him all the information needed and handed him the $1000 check deposit. Instantly reserved the car for me and kept me updated on the vehicle's status. He kept everything so simple and laid back, that I almost forgot I was talking to a salesman. Instead it felt like I was talking to a good friend who was willing to help. Everything took about 30 minutes. With their slogan being, "You will not be disappointed," they definitely lived up to that motto (based on my experience). I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone living in the Lake County area. |

IN - Indianapolis - Falcone Subaru - both
Sales: John Service: Ryan Story: SO purchased a car here. No pressure sales tactics, good price. On the whole everyone at the dealership is very polite. They replaced the short block on my BRZ (under warranty) VERY quickly. I've been driving the car for a few days trying to put miles on it and so far so good--no leaks and everything looks really clean. It was apparent from the get go they wanted to help me in any way possible. After talking with the service writer for awhile, they seemed like they would be pretty mod friendly too. The owner, Bob Falcone, used to work in a service department and it shows that customer service is the most important thing to this dealer. |

NJ - Englewood - Town Subaru
Sales: John Lopes I went to the dealership and was quickly greeted by John, who another forum member said he had a great experience with. John and I got a long instantly. No sales nonsense. He seemed like a genuine car guy and really excited to chat with me about the car. We went for a test drive, and after a short conversation we signed a deal to order the car at a great price! Post sale, John emailed me every few weeks with updates. I never had to reach out because he would email as soon as he had any updates. He never made promises about delivery dates and was very open about the process for them to receive cars. As things started to ramp up, I was getting an email from John almost weekly. And of course when the car arrived, he greeted me with a big smile and showed me around the car. Best experience I've ever had with a car salesman. We've been in touch since I took delivery of the car and greatly appreciate his genuine enthusiasm for the car and car chat in general. Please buy a car from him! |

Always excellent service. They've always treated me right, and genuinely have better prices than most of the dealers around. In fact, when I was having issues with my radio, they messed up and ordered the wrong radio but made up by giving me a free oil change among other things to correct the mistake. Additionally, even though my car was in the extended warranty phase (2013 BR-Z) they did not charge me the $100 deductible to replace my radio. any time i've dealt with them, they have been straight up, honest and have taken care of any of my issues. |

Fantastic experience today with Ben in sales and Mike in finance. Stress-free visit and very fair pricing. Left with a Series.Yellow (!!) and will certainly be coming back here for our next Subaru.
