This thread isn't based on some notion that we drive exotics - more like funny stories that someone thought it was a Porsche.

Or that you got torched by a camry and the 8 year old in the back made fun of you. Either way.

I don't think anyone is taking this thread seriously. For every "cute young blonde" story there's 20 "a young dude eye ball banged my car" story.

Case in point, I popped by the local Lebanese restaurant to grab shawarmas for dinner last week. Four young guys were pointing at the car and followed me into the restaurant to ask about it. I could've posted that story, but it's just not as entertaining.

Consistently attracts more penis than any vehicle I've owned.

Let's be honest here, I don't know how dudes don't get tired of looking at their mustangs every day. That's why I'd rather dudes be eyeing out my car than women. That and my happy marriage, of course.

Get out the door - 'Stang
Taking right to main road - 'Stang taking left turn
McDonald's to the right - 'Stang on drive-thru
Mall exit up on the left - 'Stang going in, two more parked within peripheral vision
Merging onto highway - Vroom Vroo- oh, that's a 'Stang
9 miles deep in HW - "Man, I got 'Stang by a bee so many times today, they out to get me, I know it."
Exit 217, finally out of- 'Stangity-Stang Stango with two orange stripes waiting to take left turn
Two blocks down, parking at workplace where walls are made up of glass - 'Oh look, it's my Darth Vader in the reflection!"
Hopping out of car, closing door - "Man, I love my 'Stang", Jack whispers to himself.

And that's just getting to work. Man.

*Not a hater... I just think Muscle Cars are ugly AF.

Yep. My wife jokingly suggests I should switch sides since this car results in you swimming in men.

To be more topical, the "Come Race Me Bro" thread is the perfect mirror of this thread. I have never been tailed/revved at/flashed high beams in any of my past cars--not even my M3--quite like this one. I'm sure we could go on and on about guys revving at us, but only the most interesting posts make it into the "Come Race Me Bro" thread.

I live in Gillette, WY, a town with about 30k people living in it. I'd say 95% of the people here have never seen an 86 before. One time while filling at the gas station, the cashier came out and asked if it was a Ferrari, I said nope, it's a Scion. They looked at me like I was an alien from outer space and said, "Scion?". I said, it's basically a Toyota. Another time I was outside a store in a little mini mall in town talking to a friend in the parking lot and a girl from the bbq restaurant next door was outside smoking and came over and asked if it was mine, I said yeah and for the next 5 minutes begged me to do a burnout when I left. About two minutes later an older lady in an SUV drove by and asked if I wanted to trade her vehicles. I politely declined.

Second day of ownership, leaving my neighborhood after installing a Perrin 2.5" cat back. Two boys were playing soccer at the field next to the entrance and they heard my car and stared as I rumbled past them. Feels good driving a beautiful machine

You eventually get used to people staring. Wait until the first time somebody walks into something because they are fixated on the car. It is a hoot.

Best interaction i had:
I was filling up at a gas station when a cop creeps up behind me slowly and proceeds to park in front of me. As he rolls down his window I'm already thinking I'm getting a ticket. He then proceeds to surprise me by asking me what kind of car it is followed by mentioning its an awesome looking car. Biggest smiles ever after that one!

I have had 5 cops approach me and chat about the car. Three took my sales person's cards. Two bought! I know they bought because I got $75 each for the lead.

I was nervous the first time when the cop passed me, did a u turn and followed me into a parking lot. Was a doughnut shop though so I should not have worried.

I parked beside an FR-S the other day at Walmart in my town. Didn't know the owner; just saw another twin and naturally parked beside it.

The car was still there when I came out. I was standing by my car having a smoke and an older guy in a pick-up truck pulled up, rolled down his window, and asked me a bunch of questions about the cars "are they the same manufacturer?" etc.
