This is pretty much my story as well most of my career. Longest commute was 60 miles one way, shortest has been 25. Current is 40. All of them worked out to an hour. Seems if I go down on miles I also end up with a slower commute. Current 40 mile commute averages about 50 minutes with long stretches of 65MPH and a few 35MPH.

Only issue I have is a major train track that manages to catch me about twice a week for 5 to 15 minutes.

This is the best and I still remember how it was only $0.39 CAD back in the day at Food City.

But I'm actually a Nissin dude.

Back in the mid 80's I saw on a short Japanese TV segment that Nissin made a Cup Noodles concept where you can pour cold water into it, twist the bottom of the cup which is a big knob and it will self heat. But I can't seem to find anything about it on the web.

I don't exactly know what the TV segment is called (it was locally translated) but it's the same one that showed how Justco Dept Store had escalators that curves up and JDM Sega Master System was actually a white console (I never knew that and of cuz none of the other kids in school believed what I saw).

If you want to go even more "healthy", use half of the soup powder. Still tasty, just not as much sodium!

I love MaMa noodles. That's so expensive per package :o

I also love WaWa noodles
I put two packages of noodles, both fat packs, both chilli powders, and not even a whole of the seasoning package.

Nice! No ads, pop ups or dubious links. I will certainly hang out there.
I have become incredibly dubious and cynical when it comes to ANY news outlet on the internet (and even some magazines) so interesting sites can be hard to find.

Good to know that you know more about her life than I do.

I just know about acting careers. How many years did you live in North Hollywood?

If it's any consolation, my brother makes a decent living as a film director. He lives in Studio City (essentially Beverly Hills) California. He doesn't have a blockbuster movie out yet* but he gets by just fine doing what he loves. So even if she doesn't get famous next month it doesn't mean that there won't be a decent paying place for talented people. Arts are tough, it's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll type deal, but it doesn't matter what you do really as long as you are the best at.

For every success story there are thousands upon thousands of failures. The whole entertainer = waiter/waitress/insert other low paying, transient job thing has been a standard cliché for hundreds of years for a reason.

I don't recall claimng to know about the mindsets of people that served, just how physically capable I believed they should be. You're the one who said everyone who signed up to fight terrorists was an extremist

Nothing wakes you up more after a 12 hour shift than almost getting run over by a dump truck.

Yep. That'll do it!
Especially if you are in your living room at the time.
