Really hard to diagnose over the internet lol. I'm fresh out of ideas. All I can say at this point is get it on a lift or jack stands and start poking around where the noise is coming from. Check all of the exhaust in that area etc. If it is indeed coming from within the valvecover, get it looked at ASAP before you end up with a new window into the valvetrain

Here is an update. Pretty sure its an exhaust leak in missing 2 header bolts one on the drivers side one on the passenger side. Ill know for sure in just a little bit when I start my car and underneath it.
Unrelated but I notice an oil leak coming from what I think is my exhaust vvt housing. Shown at the end of the video. |

Found the issue of the noise. It was an exhaust leak caused by a missing header nut. Little concerned about the oil leak I found though watch the end of the video I posted and let me know any ideas you have. I'm trying to find out where it is coming from right now.

Do you wrap those headers? Extreme heat from the headers may of killed a gasket/seal, which yes it looks like an oil leak for sure.

I found out a little bit ago an exhaust leak from the missing header bolt is not the source of the noise. I am ordering some header gaskets and hopefully that fixes it if not I think I have something in the valve train that broken.

I usually just host them elsewhere like imgur then copy the url generated on that page and click the insert image button on the forums and paste in the link
