After a few weeks of researching ended up getting a new one although the only downside is that I wasn't able to find a brand new one on MT transmission, so far I'm loving the automatic, so convenient in traffic and still fun.

Happy to join the FT86 club!

IMGUR (and some other similar websites) get blocked in some corporate situations because they are considered file share sites (same with DROPBOX/BOX and some others). I have this all the time where I can't see photos at work so have to relook at threads from home, or my tablet over our open hotspot at work.

Hi ft86club,

After years of saving and waiting impatiently, I have finally joined the brotherhood with a used 2014 base model (I think?) FR-S with 26,000 kms on it. I cannot express in words how excited I've been in the last week that I've owned it and I've just been driving non-stop all across the city. I look forward to owning the car for pretty much its entire lifetime (or mine, whichever comes first).

PS is the previous owner on here? I bought this a crossline truck and auto in Edmonton AB.

Welcome! No trim levels with the FR-S, only special editions like the Monogram and the 10 Series, RS 1.0 and 2.0. I see you're all set for year-round enjoyment, too. Have fun, you picked a winner.

Any idea what exhaust you have there? Definitely not the stock tips for a '14

Thanks man! The exhaust is Borla. I haven't looked under the vehicle yet but the header looks stock so catback would be a safe guess.

I got my AE111 signature class from Toyota dealer (I think it was called Cooke something?) in Dunedin too, around 17 years ago... bought it online and drove it up to Auckland....

First post. Picked up my 86 back in November. Not much on the vehicle except for clear markers, tints and Greddy/KW coilovers. Enjoying the ride.

First pick up.

Newbie signing in for the first time here. Just picked up my new-to-me 2015 Argento FRS. Put some Nordfrost winters on 16" alloys so we can have some fun in the winter time up here in the frozen north.

I was looking for a ride that was going to give back a little while driving, so after much deliberation I ended up on the FRS. Considered a bunch of different vehicles, but wanted to stay in the Toyota line as we have a great dealer here in town for support.

This one was low mileage at around 25,000 kms and in clean condition. Not the kind of guy to add any upgrades so it will probably stay this way for the rest of the time I own it. Seems like these cars stay on the used lot for a while before they actually find an owner so the prices are considerably less than new. With the few options on this one it's price would have been close to $33k CAN new and I got it for $18.5 CAN plus taxes, so quite a reduction in only 25k kms and 14 months of use.

Lots of twisty back roads up here to have fun on, but in the summer it will have to compete with the motorcycle for solo drives. However, in the winter this will be the one. This is the 3rd car/truck for us in the yard, so strictly my toy and occasional trip to work.

James
