Web Tracking Information.

just checked my tracking, it's gone back 1 damn day!! (it moved 1 day forward like a week ago and it's now back to the original date)......

Not really. I've passed login details on to customers as soon as cars are ordered.

Is it possible for you to get information on anyones tracking, if given details of persons name and dealership?
Or is it dealership specific?

I'm assuming, from reading other threads, that the production is completed in batches, because of the different configs of car (86/BRZ, AT/MT, EU/US/Asia/OZ, RHD/LHD, GT/GTS - of which I believe we are one of the few countries to have different spec levels).

Thus because we're such a small market, we might only get a few days production a month to pump out our batch (~250 pm), and any hope of getting more would then have to impact production schedules for other geographies.

What it also means is that those of us who have a status of "on order" with no production month, are still in a list of numbers which need to be allocated to a production period. The comment earlier in this thread that the details would only be updated once it pretty much was in build phase rings true (i.e. I must stop checking the status multiple times a day).

On a side note, toyota should enable the web tracker for email notifications so we dont have to keep checking!

TL;DR - Due to many different combinations, oz production sporadic, tracker probably only updates when build about to occur, toyota tracker should have email notification

Dealers can only see unsold cars from other dealerships. Anything sold is not shown on the system.

I've seen video of the BRZ coming off the line the same time as the 86 which seems weird.

I don't get how this works... people that ordered their car late have picked up their cars or the cars are on the way in early July. I've ordered mine in February and it's still scheduled to be in production July.
I was expecting it to be picked up some time in early July.

They didn't order anything. They were allocations that matched what they were after.
