MomHawk and I just had an email exchange on this because I didn't realize it was a thing, but we both fall into into Team "Stein" as far as our memory. We have a whole stack of them in a closet somewhere, I'll have to go to look.

LOL when I first heard it I was a "stein" supporter as well. About 15 minutes reviewing the evidence and I knew I was just remembering wrong. Not one person has managed to come up with an undoctored book spelled "stein". Of course the supporters of the theory just disregard that fact.

I'm pretty sure because i was a kid (i actually never read those books) and heard everyone call it berenstein bears, i thought it was that way too. Kind of like R. L. Stein who made goosebumps. Ah well... Lol
