Not at all -- with a twincharge set up you can have nearly instant boost from the blower right off of idle and sky high (well, up to what the motor will tolerate) top end with the turbo.

The fact they went to the trouble tells me that for this application one kind of FI alone would not have been up to the job in terms of both off the line punch and top end.

It would've been... not in my driveway sadly.

I'm sure the cost would've been far too much to be plausible. In time though, once the warranty is gone and the car is fully paid for I'm sure I'll start to tinker a bit.
