Shouldn't. A flame thrower isn't a "fire arm" as it doesn't laugh a projectile (neither are bows but whatever). Sounds like there is separate law governing flame throwers

From the wikipedia.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flamethrower In the United States, private ownership of a flamethrower is not restricted by federal law, but is restricted in some states, such as California, by state laws (cf. California Health and Welfare Codes 12750–12761, Flamethrowing Devices).[36] In California, unlicensed possession of a flame-throwing device—statutorily defined as "any non-stationary and transportable device designed or intended to emit or propel a burning stream of combustible or flammable liquid a distance of at least 10 feet" H&W 12750 (a)—is a misdemeanor punishable with a county jail term not exceeding one year OR with a fine not exceeding $10,000 (CA H&W 12761). Licenses to use flamethrowers are issued by the State Fire Marshal, and he or she may use any criteria for issuing or not issuing that license that he deems fit, but must publish those criteria in the California Code of Regulations, Title 11, Section 970 et seq.[37][38][39][40] |

The right is a "right to keep and bear arms", not explicitly firearms so the bow (at least) does fit into that protection.

That's the second amendment. That's separate from the BATF laws, specifically the level 3 restricted weapons like full autos. To my knowledge, only projectile weapons are covered. I want to say only fire arms but I think rocket launchers fall in there too. While they fire a projectile I feel the mechanism is different enough to no longer be considered a "firearm"

I am sitting here watching Barrett Jackson live. So for I have spent about 1.2 million dollars in my head! Amazed at how cheap some cool stuff goes for though.

Relativity is a bitch.
When I still had my 2007 SLK55 (sold in October '16), I thought the steering was soft and numb compared to the FRS. Owning an FRS for a year as a daily made me think about getting rid of the AMG for a Cayman. I bought the Alfa instead. Then my FRS motor issues started happening, and most recently, it was given a new short block and driver side cam shafts and vvt gears. While the car was at the dealer for three weeks, I parked the loaner to the side and drove the Alfa every day. I picked up my FRS today and I couldn't help but realize how soft and numb the steering felt and how quiet it was (the single exit Ft86speedfactory exhaust on it isn't all that quiet.) That being said, oh what fun it is to be able to row my own gears again.

The FRS steering is REALLY soft and numb after a continuous 30 minute session of go karting.

![]() That being said, at the last enduro, a human in prime fitness shape managed to do the entire 3 hours himself, with no breaks except one yellow flag where he sipped a little water while sitting in the kart for 30 seconds... and he won. Fucking alien.
