The first time I tried using mine, instead of the maps being blank, my navigation would only display step by step routing instructions and not the actual map. I believe the reason it is blank is because your headunit cannot find your location. Once my headunit had my location, the maps began to work. I have no idea how I did it, but I basically turned off my car and went to the store, came back, restarted my phone/car, reconnected my bluetooth, and finally the car had location services, so maybe try restarting everything?
I have to say though that the amount of time it takes to open the Megellan app, you might as well whip out a physical gps and use that instead..Most times I want to jump in the car and type in the route (or at times while driving ), not wait 3-4 minutes trying to get it to work.

Problem Solved.
I deleted the Subaru Starlink app from my phone, robooted my phone, re-installed the Starlink app. Launched Starlink on the head unit. Selected Magellan Nav. Maps are now loading correctly. |

Do the apps just pop-up when you load the STARLINK app on the BRZ headunit? Because that's not an option on my phone when I load the STARLINK app.
I haven't used STARLINK in forever because it's so bad, but I'd be curious about all those apps now, seems like they added quite a bit. |
