Well, now, Allch Chcar, first off, thank you serving in the CA National Guard ....

Yep, the way California is heading, they will soon be banning BB guns ....

Ain't nutten to be ashamed of by serving in a POG unit. The grunts that look down on support units, would be soon doing only bayonet and hand to hand fighting .... on an empty stomach .....

As far as qualifying on the M4 ...... I found out that it became harder and harder to qualify soldiers as the weapons "progressed".

Hell, back in the day, using the M1, I could qualify most of the soldiers in an Infantry unit, within a few hours, with the M14 it took longer, with the M16 even longer.

It was easier to qualify Officers. Why? Because we carried the same side arm from 1911 till I got out of the Army ....... and the targets were BIGGER .....

Usually just get a pitcher of 805 or Guinness and be done. At least around here going a lot during less busy times helps too cuz the bartenders get to know you better and hook you up on occasion which is nice. I actually dont like drinking at home really unless its a group hanging out

That's okay, Trump will save us. One of my co-workers told me that. Southern Humboldt is red state after all.

M4 is the least accurate of them all. The plastic stock makes it nose heavy and fragile. In basic they gave us CQC red dots. My unit did iron sights. The problem I had was I wasn't adjusting for elevation. Zero range was different angle than qual range. Our LT can actually shoot though.
