I've been lurking since I bought my 2015 CWP BRZ Limited (6MT) last June and have found every answer I have needed along the way within this community.
![]() I daily drive it, but I hope that will not be the case forever. I'd like to find a daily in the long run. I've since installed a UEL header, OFT, brake pads/lines/fluid, and 17x8 wheels with sticky tires. I'm looking into some suspension mods now. I hope to go the FI route later (MUCH more research to do). I hope I can continue to learn here and give back along the way! |

New member, first time Subaru owner, and coming from the German car world. I just picked up my preordered performance package BRZ last Friday.

Hello everyone,
New owner of a 2014 BRZ Limited. I've only owned in for a few days, but I love it! I've seen on different sites, people complaining about the car, but I can't see what they're talking about, haha. I'm still getting used to the 6 speed, since it's been about 15 years since I've had a manual. The last one I owned was a 1986 Honda CRX Si. I'll definitely be around, reading and asking questions. I'm already looking at suspension, wheels/tires, full exhaust, and Jackson supercharger. It'll take time, but I'm excited. I'll add some pics soon. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk ![]() ![]()

It's still weird getting into the car every day and going.. Yep this is my car. I will keep it stock for a while to learn and appreciate, but glad this forum is here when I will eventually start to modify. Hope you enjoy your cars!

BRZ 2.0
Hey guys, I've been lurking around this forum for some time now, getting info and looking at everyone's amazing pics of their 86s, FRSs, and BRZs
![]() Finally decided to join, so I made an account a couple of weeks ago. The very next day I came in contact with a pregnant doe who totaled my 2013 Subaru BRZ limited... ....so I bought another one. Found another 2013 Subaru BRZ limited with less than 13k miles on it. Couldn't drive anything else. Anyway, looking forward to the forum! ![]() ![]() And...my new one.... ![]()

Hi peoples!
Hello! Purchased a hardly used 2015 BRZ limited a few months ago. First saw one parked outside an asian restaurant back sometime in 2013 and wanted one ever since.
Imports are new to me. I've only ever researched, worked on, and owned a G-Body Chevy. It's also my first manual vehicle. Fun story, couldn't even drive it home after buying it. Had my father drive it home for me. Slowly learned how to drive it the next couple weeks. Now I have plans to customize it and make it mine. ![]() I've been directed to this forum a couple times, but finally decided to register and join everyone else! |

Hey! My name is Jeremy, and I'm a SoCal resident. Just picked up a 2014 brz limited a few months ago when my old 2005 Xb was sadly totaled. Couldn't be happier with the upgrade though. So far my mods are:
Window tint 15% all around Injen cold air intake Perrin license plate relocation kit Perrin gurney flap Looking at getting my hands on a set of coilovers, wheels/tires, exhaust, a uel header and an oft tablet in the very near future! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi all! I think I might be the ultimate lurker... I followed this forum since before the car launched, and read it enthusiastically after it released. I bought a used 2013 BRZ in Feb 2015 and referred to this amazing community as I went about fixing it up from what seemed like a somewhat neglected life in the New England. Here's an abbreviated mod list:
Pioneer AppRadio2 (to mirror phone), front 6 3/4" & 1 1/8" components and rear 6x9" w/ JL 10"sub JDM kneepads, speaker panels, & black TCS buttons, w/ JPM Coachworks alcantara dash & cluster hood Graphite DINOC wrapped accents DiodeDynamics LED replacements for all lighting, & AlwaysOn Module Clear sidemarkers 6000k HID & fog bulbs Valenti Red/White tails & reverse 2015 OEM sharkfin Staggered EnkeiRS05RRs wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-04 STI Brembo conversion w/ DBA rotors, ProjectMu pads, & SS brake lines JDL UEL catted header & over-frontpipe, with Corsa catback & Vibrant resonator Supertek intake pipe (sound tube delete) & high-flow filter, with Crawford BPBs Mishimoto Catch Can Fluidampr crank pulley & Aluminum driveshaft Braille GreenLite mini-battery w PTuning tray TRD Quickshifter, MTEC shift springs, & OEM Forrester clutch cylinder Openflash Tablet So much done, and so much to do! And I did it all myself thanks to the great wealth of knowledge found here. I'm just a hobbyist, but I gained a lot of great skills and confidence in working on my own car for the first time. Big thanks to everyone here old and new. Keep making this the best enthusiast community on the internet! |
