Hmmm....that could be the case. I went past 5k rpm around 300 miles. How can you not rev it past 5, heck even 6k rpm's!? I haven't passed 7k though.

We'll see after a service check up I guess.

It's been extremely hard, but a lot of patience (for a change cause usually I don't have any)!

I haven't got my 86 yet here in Australia (currently In production). I got a few questions, Does it only start chirping once engine has warmed up? Have you tried spraying WD-40 on each bearing to try to figure out where the sound is coming from? It may just be an idler pulley instead of DI.

Alright you jerks, checked this morning and now I have a faint chirping. I can only hear it with the hood open but not from the cab. Hit 700 miles this morning.

I just hit 1200 miles and I heard the chirping for the first time. I didn't have it before.

Yeah it's hit or miss for me but I do get it pretty much every day after driving for awhile.

I've noticed that tonight too. Seems to happen only if I give it more gas then what's currently going on.
