Get a short, thin steel ruler as a straight edge cutting guide, a compass that holds a blade for doing circles and a firm, self healing, cutting mat. These things will make a world of difference when cutting that much.

Thanks; the compass hadn't occurred to me. I didn't know they made such things. I was also thinking about a plastic razor blade to help indent and fold the tabs in the right spots.

Machinist ruler/straight edge is likely what Tcoat is referring to here

Yep, that is exactly what I use. Although anything similar works just as well. Thicker rulers interfere with the knife blade too much and make it more difficult to get a clean cut.

That would be a good idea.

I've been making my own burnishing and folding tools from split bamboo for years.
Used them mainly for kite making, but they come in handy all the time for various and sundry.
Can cut angles and sand down edges to the required degree very easily and I can modify existing ones for new uses.

Another source is orangewood cuticle sticks you can find in any drugstore.

Epiphany? Why make it so complicated?

Today is the day to give newborns the stuff they need to be buried. Once they die...

You get one of the Aoshima kits? They are a very good kit.
This is my first model, I'd be interested in seeing your walk through though! And yes it's the Aoshima kit seen here: http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/05/...hunters-model/
