I recommend sandblasting your parts before paint next time. Those coolant passages with the corrosion......
Otherwise excellent build.

Instead of buying new oem coils and an ignition amplifier, we decided to go all out and do a much stronger ignition solution from induction performance

Parachute is done. The whole assembly is removable with one half inch bolt and the receiver sits flush with the bumper. Also have a speed hunters diffuser which I still need to paint satin black before install. Power shut off switch is removable and I have a black rubber plug to seal off the hole for when the car is in full street mode.

She's in there. Still need to do a little massaging to get the trans to clear, then set the drivetrain angle and weld the trans crossmember in. From there it's all small work.

Did some test fitting last night. Intake manifold is powder coated, just need to find time to pick it up. Individual cylinder egt sensors and back pressure sensor bungs are welded onto the exhaust manifold as well. Just need to ceramic coat that and I can start final assembly on those pieces.
As far as the wiring harness goes, I made my full diagram and pin out and everything is verified. Spools of tefzel wire, connectors and pins are on the way. This harness will be everything I need, nothing that I don't. Routed exactly how I want

Looking forward to seeing the diffuser. I have the same sitting in the garage and was also going to paint it black.
That 2j is looking amazing. |

Harness is together. Tonight I'll lay it out in the car and trim the excess wiring so everything is a perfect fit. Then I can fully shrink tube, shrink label, crimp terminals and install the connectors

Both manifolds are coated and installed. Individual egt's and turbo manifold back pressure sensor. Just crimping the pins on the engine harness now. Fully shrink wrapped and ready for the ecu end to be pinned by my motec tuner

Finished the last of the engine bay wiring today, the coils. All that's left is the ecu connectors, Frs body harness connector, and a couple breakouts for my motec c125 dash, fuel pump/surge tank control, trans brake/bump box control, etc.
An in progress shot of the coil wiring And the new hotness
