DIY fender rolling and pulling?
Can't seem to find this...
With it being mentioned so often but yet not 100% on how it's done and what all tools exactly are required to do a professional job?

All you need is a fender roller and a heat gun! I had my fenders for my s2000 rolled and I just sat and watched a guy i called on craigslist roll them lol. It looks pretty simple but the guy said that it takes some practice to get it right. Basically you put the fender roller on the hub and you adjust the roller to where it puts force against the fender and you use a heat gun to heat up the fender. Then ROLL away. You will have to keep adjusting the fender roller as the fenders become more and more rolled. Also when using the heat gun heat it evenly and not just in one spot for so long. It may damage the paint. I may not be an expert but that is what I learned from watching the guy haha hope that helps!
Here's a pic of what the fender rollers look like |

I rolled the fenders on my Miata the old-fashioned way with a $15 wood baseball bat from Walmart and a heat gun I already had. Went ok with no paint peeling. With a newer car like my BRZ I would borrow, rent, or buy the tool pictured above though.

You guys all realize the fenders come rolled from the factory, right? Go look at them, the lip is already folded back on itself for most of the fender at all four corners.

You can't get more rolled than they already are, the only thing you can do is extend the rolled part further along the fender, or give the fender a bit of a pull.
Go feel the rolled part of your fender, you'll see that they're folded fully back on themselves where they came rolled.
