Hello all! I have a 2013 10 Series Frs. I'm glad that I found an awesome forum to join for these cars! I've done a few cosmetic mods to my car so far. I'm going to wait until my car is paid off before I do any engine work to it. I soooo want a 2jz engine swap!

Late to the party, but I traded my 11 Civic Si sedan for a 13 FR-S with just under 92k miles. Vehicle is one owner/dealer maintained. Really looking forward to driving this car and learning some things on the forum.

Put it up for sale? Use a bit of that money to purchase a JDL header and a tune... That way I can live vicariously through you . Great color choice btw!

Talking Team subie

Just got accepted into this forum. For those who are curious in the newest model I recently picked up 2017 brz premium in mannuel transmission and I love it! The tranny ratio 4:3:1 is so much better than the previous models and actually feels like it has torque.

Hello everyone!
I´m very happy to join the forum.
I have just acquired a 2014 GT86 and couldn´t be happier.
The forum has helped me a lot to understand many quirks of my car and their solutions.

I bought it with just 10,000 km and I have have already put 3,000 on it in less than two months. I use it as my daily driver.

Below is a photo during its shakedown just after getting it....
This is my first sports car and I just cannot stop looking at it everytime I step out of it...
Love the handling, the connected feeling it transmits.

quirks I have:
- crickets
- fog tail lights
- rear deck rattle

So that's it for now...

sorry for the confusion: the issue is water getting into the tail lights. In my car it is a rather mild issue, so instead of a lot of water I just get a lot of condensation inside.

I will try my luck at the warranty using the TSB from the forum next week when I go to the service at the dealer, the car is still covered by the warranty a couple more months.
I will also try to get my HPFP changed.

Hello all!
New member in Denver here.
Just picked up my "new" '13 FR-S.
manual, 37K. Traded in my '05 Crossfire, and I'm thrilled so far.
Glad to be part of the community!

drove home in a snow storm

My wife and I picked up our new steel manual Toyota 86 on the 30th of December at ScrantonToyota.

The weather report was for a few snow flurries but nothing to worry about. So we did a little shopping and stopped for lunch.

Coming out of the eatery we were taken back by the one inch plus of snow on our car. Seems the snow flurries decided to turn into a snow tantrum...

The road was snow covered with two tracks where cars had gone through before turning the snow to ice... Lots of traffic, all moving slow and stopping at times... We slipped a little bit three or four times but that was the only problem we had.

I am so impressed with the way this car handled and got us home safe and sound! And that was on summer tires, to boot!

I hope spring comes quickly so I can enjoy this great handling on some dry curvy roads!
