AFR Monitoring under WOT

Have a scan gauge hooked up - appears that the OB-2 output is not calibrated to read below 12.0. I would like to monitor how the AFR varies under richer / WOT conditions. I'm assuming I need an o2 sensor
upgrade ? or not ? Any recommendations ...

Thanks.

Any particular reason why you want to monitor AFR on a stock (I'm assuming) car?

D_T - the Car will not be stock for long. Thinking of the OFH & maybe E85 so would like to baseline performance.

Most tunes will rescale the factory O2 sensor so that it reads richer AFR more accurately. It is still not perfect, so it is best to install and reference an aftermarket wideband.

If you're staying NA then I would suggest that a WBO2 is probably a waste of cash. A decent O2 sensor scale is possible, plenty of info in here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82875

As per @Kodename47 post above, when you get your oft , just alter the o2 scaling in the stock tune and reflash tune with altered scale , cost you nothing then you can monitor afr down to 10, the stock tune runs rich down to high 10 afr
