My new Argento and opti coat
Here's a few pics of my new FR-S, picked up on Friday June 22. The staff at Red Deer Toyota were great to deal with. The day after, I got the car detailed and opticoated by the fine fellows at Auto Obsessed in Edmonton. They do amazing work and have the nicest detailing facility a car lover could ask for. Go see them.
www.autoobsessed.com A few thoughts on the first 500 km. - Count me among those that love the engine sound. - The handling is as advertised. - The car just feels fun no matter what kind of driving you're doing. - The economy is awesome, I'm at 8.0 L/100Km average - The shifter is my favourite of any I've tried, even the Miata. - Its got no interior storage - As mentioned by others, you feel "in" the car, the position is just so different than even my Prelude. It really fits like a glove. (or shoe) Buy the car, its awesome. Then get it opti coated and enjoy! I sure am. Ps If someone knows how to resize pics lemme know.. |

Looks awesome man!
I didn't have anything but 3M done to mine, and it needs a wax bad (and some clay-barring of glue/residue). I hope the weather stops sucking soon.

Have you tried clay-barring? I have a Mother's clay bar and it's pretty awesome for getting shit out of paint. I use it to clean sap and other stuff. Haven't tried getting rid of the glue yet, but I'm hoping it works. There's some on my door and when the car is clean it's invisible, but as soon as there is any dirt in the air, it all sticks to that area and no where else, making it look scuffed up.
