Battery is pretty much dead thanks to the constant freezing temps here in the central valley. Had to use my battery pack a few times this morning to jump the car (funny enough, bought a few of these for my parents, brother and in-laws as xmas gifts). Guess I'm getting a new battery with my xmas money... anybody have recommendations?

Got that problem within a year of ownership, got it replaced under warranty since I knew the service manager. Fast forward a couple months later, happens again, took it back to the dealer and got "its supposed to do that" from the shop foreman

Part of the reason I switched to Toms...

After initial condensation, I used an early version of the wdninja gasket on my tails and haven't had a problem since...

I didn't really have any issues up until now. Weird. Maybe because it's been colder than compared to the last couple of years?

the OEM tail light gasket takes time to fail... probably dependent on how much you park outside, how much rain/wash water it's exposed to, and the temps etc. The thicker gasket makes a difference... but also the weatherproof sealant you use to install it, so it really blocks out the moisture.

Napa has the longest warranties vs. cost. Replaced my OEM 2 years ago and been good since. Right now the car is only being driven under 2-3 miles a day and first thing in the morning while holding up well. No slow starts or anything like that

Nice to know that there is a fairly inexpensive $35 solution to this problem that doesn't involve taking my car to the incompetent dealer techs.

Or I could just use this as an opportunity to upgrade to the $450 Toms clear tail lights:

I think we all know what the correct course of action here is...

Watch out for the clear Toms. They have issues with the inside plastic melting and burning out the LEDs. The issue doesn't seem nearly as common with the red Toms.

Oh wow, well that certainly sucks. It seems to be the best looking aftermarket tail light.
