Been watching Nagi No Asukara all day and my god is it good. It's definitely one of my favorites of the stuff I've watched recently. I wasn't too impressed with the first couple of episodes but the more I watch the more I love it.

People said 2nd season was not as good as season 1 due to the Butcher not actually writing the script. I've held off on starting season 2 because of that.

What are your thoughts? Really loved how OP the MC was..

I had no idea the two seasons were written by different people, nonetheless, it still has good plot twists and character development changes from season 1. I'll try not to spoil anything more though.

Thats very good to hear! Once I finish rewatching code geass, I'll finish season 2.

gen urobuchi aka "the butcher" is famous for making you get attached to a character then... killing them off.

Finished www.working and Gundam Iron Blood is still going on and love both of those shows. Started to watch Gunslinger Girl and 4 episodes in and I like it so far. I am just waiting for the new season of anime

Next season is looking good. Tales of Zestiria, Showa Genroku, Yowamushi Pedal, KonoSuba, Blue Exocist and my fav Gintama gonna be back! There are few other new series that coming out that I'm interested in seeing as well

Gen Urobuchi didn't have much to do with season 1 after the first 3 episodes, he just really created the preliminary structure of the series and the script for the first 3 episodes. Many things in season one, including the ending were not from Gen...so if you liked episodes 4-12 it wasn't because of Gen...as he didn't have anything to do with them.

I really enjoyed A:Z..both seasons.

Gunslinger Girl is one of the masterpieces of anime... (first season only - the second season was a huge let down. It strayed way wide of the uniqueness of the first season and went right into mainstream, and it was worse at everything it did. The final fight scene is the ONLY redeeming quality to Gunslinger Girl: il teatrino for me.)

I just recently saw Shakunetsu no Takkyū Musume...was okay, not the best but still wanted to see how it progressed....solid C show. I think I liked it because the visuals somewhat reminded me of Nichijou... overall it was a ridiculous show and not Nichijou caliber though...
