SWP up For Grabs in SC

I just pulled my Deposit from Subaru of Charleston today for the SWP Limited 6MT BRZ that I Pre-ordered on 2 April. It is still currently on the Wait List. They were selling it to me for MSRP I had no addons ordered. they required a $1000 dollar depost. Talk to Pam or Doc and tell them Ryan told you to call if you are intrested. only pulled due to being transfered from SC or WA.

I ended up finding one in Washington. its a WRB and it looks good. hope this may help somone on here get a BRZ before next april.

That's good to know. I asked that they not drill holes in front bumper / do not install license plate bracket. They seem like nice ppl and finance mgr mentioned they had already sold one out of state BRZ (NC). I bet that was you! Anything else I should know about this dealership?

DantKR I just found out the other day that they gave you first dibs on the BRZ when I was the first Pre-Order. The only question I have is how in the Hell did you know they were getting on before they did. I was told you were waiting at the lot before they opened and pretty much told them they were getting a car they had no idea they were getting. Congratz on your homework to get the car but dam they made me Mad cause i would have went with the Blue instead of waiting.

I saw on their website that it was "In transit". They had no idea that they got an extra allocation in and I pretty much put in the deposit within an hour of finding it. I think the problem that preorders are running into is that they can't swith VINs or VONs on the fly to mark and give it to someone that preordered when it's a different car. It's a really weird system they have running at the moment...

Like I said in the other thread I went to the website and slowly expanded my search and whenever I saw a BRZ I was interested in I'd call and ask if it was still available. I found one 80 miles away but someone had done the same thing I did and already put a deposit on it. They almost didn't want to sell it to me though because I wasn't local. But the sales people pretty much said "Dude... it's a sale before it even arrives."
