Anyways yes, there gonna be some guys/ladies that gonna buy this car for drift & racing (like me & almost all the members here), but at the same time, if Toyota made this car 200hp-ish, 2700 lbs, $22k base car, it'll open up more different (reason) buyers.

LOL I knew, you gonna do that!
I'd drive mountains if there were decent canyons around Socal. Well there's a few Mulholland, Azuza, Newport/Laguna and the one in Malibu but eh.. The drivers here are pretty disrespectful about the road so I don't bother. Plus power sliding in my 3dr Yaris is soooo much more fun in the rain. :P

A friend of mine drives a 240SX and I swear I thought we were going to die in Muholland. She also scared me on Azuza.. when a van decided to turn the corner. Thank god for that turnabout. :x

And If I remember.. Santiago Canyon had that really bad fire. I haven't been there since. No jogging there anymore. Lol Never been to carbon Canyon road. O_O Would love to take pictures there someday.

I just came back from Asuza and man it was fun to go there. I'm jealous of you Cali people. Wish I could move West coast.

Good question...and no engine shots??

CONS!!!
Im not feeling the way the fenders flow into the bumper. It kind of looks like a helmet, with that big grill on the bumper. The spoiler has got to go, unless they make it into a 3 piece style, then it might flow better. Fender vents needs to be deleted

PROS!!
It has a Toyota badge
Need to see this in person to get a better feel of the car.

Hm... I don't care to race in mountain other than just cruising around. I learned my lesson in racing down in actual touge (never again...)

Yeah, like cyde have said, those are well known canyons.

off topic, your friend's 240sx is 180sx chassis or silvia chassis (s13 s14)?

No need to hide. Compared to Supraforums, that was very polite, tactful and classy. I saw one thread where this girl (Mk4 NA owner), posted about calling bullshit on this kid's Integra 'Type-R' because it only had 4 bolt rims*. It was followed by about 3 pages of 'Tits or GTFO!'

*Asterix for Ichi, it was in Cali, was LHD, so it was not the first gen JDM ITR which had the Accord's 4 bolt wheels.

carbon canyon doesn't even really count. also, too many residential areas. as far as "long" goes, one of the routes we used to run was roughly 130 miles, including connecting freeway/highway sections.

180sx :> I can't get into super much detail as at some point I won't know what I'm talking about.

:P Mulholland yes lightly traveled but... Azuza.. there's a lot of camping and hiking gong on. Plus a few more CHPs have been spotted. This was about 2-3 months ago.

Mulholland is my favorite is my current favorite in California. Especially the tree that holds all of the broken car/motorcycle parts.
