Yeah I know about it all too well lol. Had a water bottle smash through my grille before so I had to replace the whole bumper . But as it stands, my car is completed as a tS, so I might as well keep it as the gouki tS.

Confirmed the badge will NOT fit. The space where it's suppose to go is way too narrow for the badge

I will, at the very least, getting rid of my fog lights to your premium trim cause with the extension trim next to it, it just looks way too busy with the fog lights.

Btw, how's the pink trim holding up on yours? Needed to have my bumper corrected before I did mine lol
yeah I feel ya on all of that. I agree on the fog light situation and when/if I do that on the 17 bumper I will go fogless again.

The pink trim is holding up well all things considered. I don't have a clear bra and it isn't coated so there are chips already. Again, thats why I wanna do the 17 bumper so I can repaint and do it right. My only qualm with the trim is that it isn't the exact color. Its soooooo close but just slightly off. Ive been looking into getting special paint ordered and matched to the current STi red.

The WRB BRZ in the 2nd picture posted....I want that rear trunk spoiler. Know what the part # is for that specific part? Thanks in advance!

Now..I'm contemplating whether to convert my RS2.0 into a kouki BRZ over a zenki....hmm...

Check my build thread it has a link to the Japan parts site that has it. You're talking about the trunk lip spoiler right?

Do you think they'll make a badge that would fit on the new bumper? I hope they do. lol

Only if a new tS comes out, which is a possibility but I doubt it. As the cars on its last legs I don't really see STi putting in the time to develop a new version

If that's the case, then why not use the term (especially when "Kouki" sounds a lot like "Kooky" which is endearing on girlfriends and nieces but not so much on cars) and also seems unnecessary. Don't know about @kch but no disrespect from here, just a matter of practicality.

I found out recently from a japanese friend that its pronounced "Calkee"
like Call-Kee
He said kooky sounds so funny and weird

Noriyaro also mentioned this terminology and pronunciation

I also think itd be easier to call it Kouki because it makes sense granted its a jdm car and thats what they use instead of using the Usdm (facelift) name

Dang that sucks. I hope someone finds a way to install them on the new bumpers.

I don't like how they look. The sides look tacky to me.... the way the back portion goes up the side of the car - it just reminds me of an unpainted body kit on a Civic (extreme I know, but I have PTSD from my Honda days).

And I like Velox in general and try to use their parts whenever I can, Eric is a good guy and puts a lot of time and effort into well thought out design/function. Besides, Tegris is just a cool material! Only reason I didn't do the Velox front splitter in Tegris is because the roads around my house would have me scraping it constantly. My car just isn't racecar enough to justify that.

Good to know. Velox does make quality parts for the 86. Nonetheless, beautiful car.
